By downloading, installing, purchasing, accessing, or using Cametas, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected.
1. Operator and technical developer
Cametas is conceived, commissioned, and operated by EuroSMM, E. Shaman. Technical development is provided by Codepolder / Reprevi through codcl.com. References to “Cametas”, “we”, or “us” generally mean the project operator unless the context identifies a separate technical provider. The developer is not automatically the seller, payment provider, or operator of every third-party platform through which Cametas is made available.
2. Eligibility and authority
You may use Cametas only if you can enter into a binding agreement under the law applicable to you. A minor may use the service only with the permission and supervision required in their jurisdiction. If you use Cametas for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation and that the organisation is responsible for its users.
3. The service
Cametas may provide camera recording, screen capture, teleprompter, layout, map, overlay, editing, export, live-production, or related tools depending on the device, operating system, region, product version, and licence. Feature descriptions explain intended functionality and do not guarantee that every feature will be available continuously, identically, or on every configuration. Preview, beta, experimental, or third-party-dependent functions may change or be withdrawn.
4. Licence and permitted use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable store rules, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the relevant Cametas application for its intended purpose on supported devices you control. The software is licensed rather than sold. No ownership in the software, branding, documentation, design, or underlying technology is transferred to you.
You may make ordinary use of the service and create lawful content. You may not circumvent access or payment controls; interfere with security or operation; distribute malicious code; use Cametas to violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, recording, surveillance, or other laws; resell the service without permission; or reverse engineer it except to the narrow extent such a restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.
5. Accounts, purchases, trials, and renewals
Some editions may work without a Cametas account, while a platform account may still be needed to download, purchase, restore, or update an application. Prices, included features, billing periods, trial conditions, taxes, and renewal information are those shown at the point of purchase. Where an app store or payment provider handles a transaction, its billing, cancellation, refund, and account rules also apply. A recurring plan continues for the displayed period until cancelled through the same platform, subject to the notice presented before purchase.
Deleting an app does not necessarily cancel a subscription. Users should manage subscriptions in the relevant store or payment account. Refund rights depend on mandatory consumer law and the policy of the merchant of record. Contact [email protected] if reasonable assistance is needed to identify the correct channel, but do not send full card details.
6. User content and recording responsibilities
As between you and Cametas, you retain the rights you hold in recordings, scripts, layouts, images, and other material you create or import. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and licences, including consent from people who are recorded and permission to use music, trademarks, locations, maps, documents, and other protected material. You are also responsible for notices or indicators required for recording, streaming, or publication.
Cametas does not review local content as a routine part of providing on-device functions. If you choose to export, publish, stream, or share content, the destination service and audience may apply separate rules. You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, backup, and consequences of your content and distribution decisions.
7. Device access, backups, and compatibility
Camera, microphone, screen, file, notification, network, and location functions depend on device permissions and hardware capabilities. Performance can vary with available storage, battery, thermal state, other applications, drivers, network conditions, and operating-system changes. You should test the intended setup before an important recording, keep reasonable backups, monitor available storage, and maintain an alternative production method where interruption would cause loss.
8. Third-party services
Cametas may interoperate with operating systems, stores, maps, streaming destinations, file providers, fonts, codecs, analytics, hosting, and other third-party services. Their availability, content, data practices, and terms are controlled by their respective providers. A reference or integration does not imply that Cametas guarantees or endorses every aspect of that service.
9. Updates, maintenance, and changes
We may issue updates for compatibility, security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development. An update may add, modify, or remove functionality. Maintenance, emergencies, or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily interrupt connected features. We may discontinue a version or service, using reasonable notice where practical and legally required.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
Cametas and its licensors retain all rights in the service and associated materials. Names, logos, product appearance, and documentation may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship or causes confusion without permission. If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback, you permit the project to use them without an obligation to implement, credit, or compensate you, while ownership of your underlying private content remains unchanged.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, abuse, or a binding legal request. You may stop using Cametas at any time, but must separately cancel recurring purchases. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers, and dispute provisions—remain effective after termination.
12. Warranties and liability
Cametas is provided with reasonable care and skill and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, preservation of every recording, or suitability for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, evidentiary, or broadcast-continuity use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, Cametas and the project parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss, or for loss caused by user content, third-party services, unsupported hardware, missing backups, or use contrary to documentation. Any further limitation is applied only to the extent it is fair, valid, and enforceable in the relevant jurisdiction.
13. Governing rules and disputes
Before starting formal proceedings, please send a concise description of the issue to [email protected] so the parties can try to resolve it informally. The governing law and competent forum are determined by the operator’s applicable establishment and conflict-of-law rules, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or courts available in the consumer’s country of residence. App-store dispute mechanisms may apply to purchases handled by that store.
14. General provisions
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply and the affected provision is interpreted as closely as lawful to its intended purpose. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, or operational reasons; the date and version above identify the current text. An assignment or transfer may occur as part of a legitimate project reorganisation, subject to applicable law.
